Lunch at gallery cafe

Eating out in Guildford is the perfect way to spend time with friends and family, have a business lunch, or just treat yourself after a day enjoying the sights or a day at work.

The choice of restaurants in Guildford will take you on a culinary journey around the world including cuisine from: France, Italy, India, China, Greece, Lebanon, Thailand, Japan, Spain, The Caribbean, Mexico and of course England!

Head for a fine dining experience at  Ivy Castle View-  or lighter bites in the Harbour Bar and Grill.  For the perfect lunch stop while shopping, call in to The Gallery Café, set in the idyllic courtyard of Guildford House Gallery where fresh home made food is served, alongside afternoon tea treats.

For everything from breakfast through to your evening meal in a quirky atmosphere, go to the newly opened Cosy Club in Tunsgate Quarter.

Home made food using local ingredients can be found  - and wash it down with a locally brewed beer or wine.  Don't miss a pint of world renowned Hogs Back TEA, or a local sparkling wine from Denbies Wine Estate, or Albury Vineyard

For food with a view, head for the Yvonne Arnaud Restaurant.  It's perfect for pre-theatre dining, and also provides a view over the River Wey.  The White House and The Weyside also provide a riverside setting as does the Electric Theatre café.

If you are looking for a unique dining experience from an independent restaurant, there are plenty to be found.  Enjoy Spanish Tapas at La Casita or authentic Italian food at Olivos or Shardana, and for spectacular views over Guildford while dining, book for the Thai Terrace.

Search Guildford's pubs for a fantastic selection of home cooked food, local produce, Sunday Roast lunches in the English tradition and excellent Pub Grub!

Many restaurants have areas available for private dining, family celebrations, christenings, wakes and other private functions.
