You can make an application for a variation to your club premises certificate.

How to advertise your application

You must place two advertisements of the application during the representation period:

  • the first advertisement must be on the outside of the property on light blue A4 paper. The advertisement should be on display for 28 days starting the day after you submit your application. It should be visible from the boundary of the premises property. Use this window advertisement (Word doc, 146 KB).
  • the second advertisement should appear in a newspaper within 10 working days of submitting your application. Use this newspaper advertisement (Word doc, 141 KB).
  • send a copy of the advertisement to the licensing unit. If you do not do this it could result in the application being rejected

Tacit Consent 

We have a target completion period of 56 days for this notice. If you have not heard from us by the end of this period you can act as though your application is granted.

Please note that this target period only begins on receipt of a complete application.

  1. click the apply button, create an account, or log in to the licensing portal
  2. after logging in select 'licensing' from the side menu
  3. select 'Licensing Act 2003'
  4. select the licence and application type to complete the form
