This local sponsorship scheme for Ukraine will offer a route to those who want to come to the UK who have someone here willing to provide them with a home.
The scheme matches people, charities, businesses and community groups in the UK to Ukrainians who do not have established families in the country, so they are able to come the UK.

Home for Ukraine application outcome
We take our responsibility to safeguard Ukrainian refugees through the Homes for Ukraine Scheme very seriously. We are responsible for protecting refugees who come to our borough through the Homes for Ukraine Scheme. We take our responsibility very seriously. Your application may be refused if your household or property does not meet the criteria needed. We will take extra care to review and assess your application if this is the case. We will work with Surrey County Council to make sure that we are being fair and consistent. There is no right of appeal and our decision will be final.
The government funded a scheme that offers a matching, training and support services to sponsors and refugees.
