Request a contaminated land search

Contaminated land public register

Local authorities must keep a public register of contaminated land, per Section 78(R) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.

The register must include:

  • site information
  • remediation notices
  • appeals against remediation notices
  • remediation declarations
  • remediation statements
  • appeals against charging notices
  • notices designating land as 'special sites'
  • notification of remediation
  • convictions for non-compliance with the notices
  • statement regarding existence of confidential information
  • other matters prescribed by regulations
  • notices terminating the designation of land as a special site

Public Register Summary:

Currently, our public register does not contain any contaminated land entries.
