Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) Final Recommendations

Following an Electoral Review, The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) published its Final Recommendations for Surrey County Council (opens new window) in May 2024.

The LGBCE map of the Surrey County Council New Electoral Divisions (opens new window) is published at the Commission's website.

To give effect to the Commission's final recommendations, Parliament has enacted Statutory Instrument (2024) No. 1177 which is entitled The Surrey (Electoral Changes) Order 2024 (opens new window).

The new Electoral Arrangements for Surrey County Council come into force at the scheduled County Council elections on Thursday 1st May 2025.
