Save the Date for Guildford Green Day 2025!

Save the date! Our annual Guildford Green Day will be held on Sunday, 8 June, 2025, from 11:00am to 4:00pm, inviting everyone to 'Be part of a Greener Guildford'.
Guildford Green Day is supporting the national Big Green Week. It will help raise awareness of climate change issues and environmental concerns by promoting climate change initiatives, waste & recycling, flood resilience, vegan food, and local green businesses.
Lead Councillor for Environment and Climate Change, Cllr George Potter said:
"I'm delighted that Guildford Green Day is returning this year. It's so important that we all do what we can to learn more about Climate Change and raise awareness of environmental concerns.
"As a council, we are committed to reaching our carbon-neutral target by 2030 and we want our residents to see how small actions can help to create a greener, more sustainable future for Guildford."
Event Highlights:
Guildford high street will host a variety of engaging activities and events designed to inspire and educate the community and help save money. I look forward to welcoming our community to Guildford to learn about the things we can all do to play our part in creating a greener Guildford, but most of all, I hope that everyone that attends has fun and enjoys the free, family day out!".
