On Thursday 7 July our reception at Millmead House will be closed for staff training. If you need to contact us please use our online contact form. Our call centre will be operating with reduced staff. This is to ensure our phone lines are available to vulnerable residents. Normal service will resume on Friday 8 July. View your benefit account

Once you have been through a short registration process you can: 

  • log in at a time that suits you - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 
  • see the status of your claim and entitlement 
  • see when your next Housing Benefit payment is due and the amount 
  • view your benefit notifications 
  • report a change 
  • upload documents

You'll just need to: 

  1. sign up for a MyGuildford Account 
  2. once you're signed up, sign into your new MyGuildford Account and click the 'Benefits' tile 
  3. follow the on-screen instructions (you'll need your claim reference number and your National Insurance number to hand)
  4. your account is validated, and you can now access your account

With a MyGuildford Account you can also: 

  • check your bin collection day 
  • pay your council tax  
  • manage your council services including missed bins and bulky waste orders 
  • get a quicker response to your requests, track the progress of your requests and get information based on your address
