The Mayor of Guildford, Cllr Sallie Barker MBE, said:

"The Mistletoe Ball was a fun festive occasion that truly celebrated the season of giving.

"The support we received from people and businesses across Guildford was phenomenal. The ball was a sell-out with sensational raffle prizes and priceless items for the silent auction being kindly donated.

"I'm extremely grateful to all those who gave so generously of their time and money to make the ball a success. Thank you for helping us beat our fundraising goal! The money we've raised together will make a huge difference to these good causes and the people they support."

Chair of Guildford Philanthropy, Peter Cluff said:

"It was wonderful to host over 300 people, including Lord and Lady Onslow, at G-Live for our Mistletoe Ball. What an amazing night, raising an amazing £75,000, for seven local charities."
