Blue Badge parking

The Blue Badge scheme offers parking concessions for disabled and blind people. Surrey County Council's website has more information about the scheme.

On-street parking

If you are a Blue Badge holder, you can park on the street for free.

Resident or dual use bays

You can park in these bays without time limit providing your Blue Badge is visible at all times.

You will need to make sure that the badge:

  • is placed on top of the dashboard or fascia panel
  • has the wheelchair-user symbol facing upwards

You do not need to display your clock in these bays.

Disabled bays

You can park in these bays for a total of three hours. You will need to display the clock with your arrival time and your badge.

Single or double yellow lines

You can park on a single or double yellow line for a total of three hours. You will need to display the clock with your arrival time and your badge.

If loading restrictions are in force you will see double yellow stripes on the kerb. Blue Badge holders are not permitted to park whilst these restrictions are in force.

Car parks

Blue Badge holders can park for free and without time limit in any of our pay and display car parks.

Blue Badge holders cannot park for free in our 'pay on exit' car parks: our normal parking charges will apply.
