Transfer a premises licence
When licensed premises change hands, the new owner or operator must transfer the premises licence as soon as possible.
Apply by post
The application must consist of:
- The correct fee of £23 fee (Please note we do not accept cheque or cash payments)
- Current premises licence
- If you are applying as an individual, a copy of a document from this demonstrating your entitlement to work in the UK
If the designated premises supervisor is changing with the change of ownership, you will also need to vary the designated premises supervisor.
Will tacit consent apply?
Yes. This means that you will be able to act as though your application is granted if you have not heard from us by the end of the target completion period, provided the application was correctly made.
