Surrey County Council by-election (Guildford South East Division)

A vacancy has arisen in the office of Councillor at Surrey County Council to represent the people of the Guildford South East electoral division. This by-election only concerns electors in the following polling districts:

B1A - Burpham (North West A)
C1 - Castle (West)
C2 - Castle (South East)
C3 - Castle (East)
M3A - Merrow (South A)
SK2 - Stoke (East)
SK3A - Stoke (North A)

The required number of registered voters have duly claimed a by-election to fill the vacancy. If contested, the by-election would be held on Thursday 16 October 2025.

Eligible persons who wish to be candidates at this by-election must deliver duly completed nomination papers to the Deputy Returning Officer as soon as possible, but in any event by no later than 4pm on Friday 19 September 2025.
