Bin collections

Due to the high temperatures, our bin crews will be starting collections earlier than usual to help keep them safe in the heat. Please make sure your bins are out the night before, as collections will take place from 5.30am for the rest of the week. Thank you for helping our crews work safely during the hot weather.

Bandstand Concerts return to Guildford Castle Grounds this Sunday

Get ready for lazy summer afternoons as the much-loved Bandstand Concerts return this Sunday at Guildford Castle Grounds.

Running from May to September, this year's programme features a varied line-up of brass bands, ensembles and jazz groups, bringing live music to the Castle Grounds throughout the summer.

Residents and visitors are invited to bring a picnic, gather with friends and family, and enjoy what could well be the perfect soundtrack to a Sunday afternoon.

The concerts are free to attend and open to everyone.
