Guildford Urban Capacity Study
The Urban Capacity Study forms part of the evidence base for the New Local Plan.
The study assesses the potential for new homes, employment space and other development opportunities within the Guildford town centre and its immediate surrounds.
The findings help inform the preparation of the Local Plan by identifying potentially suitable and available development opportunities. This will help ensure that we maximise the use of sustainable brownfield sites to meet our development needs. The sites that have been identified for further consideration have been assessed as part of the Land Availability Assessment (LAA).
