Support services
Surrey County Council has a care team located at Japonica Court which provides support for approximately 20 tenants who need higher levels of support to help them remain in their homes. This service is accessible by referral to Surrey County Council Social Services.
A Guildford Borough Council support officer is usually available Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm, and on Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (excluding bank holidays).
The staff visitor is on call for emergencies outside of these hours.
When a member of staff is not on site, the Japonica Court sheltered scheme is switched over to the care centre in Chichester.
If an emergency arises, use the emergency communication red pull cords found in all flats and communal areas to summon help.
To arrange a visit to view Japonica Court, please contact the support officer on 01252 333582.
