Guildford Castle

Opening times

The Castle Grounds and Castle Cliffe Gardens are open by 9am throughout the year.
They close at 7.30pm in summer months and 5pm in winter months.

Castle Keep opening times

The Castle Keep will be open from Saturday 30 March until Saturday 2 November 2024.

Wednesday to Saturdays, 12 noon until 4.30pm (last entry 4pm).

Come along and find out about the history of our Norman castle. Climb the stairs to the top of the tower and take in the amazing views over Surrey and beyond.

Admission to the Castle Keep

• Adults: £4.50
• Children: £2.50
• Family (2 adults and 2 children): £12
• Under 5s: Free

Admission to the Castle Grounds

The Castle Grounds are free to enter.

Access Information

Most parts of the Castle Grounds are wheelchair accessible. There are areas with steps and steep slopes, particularly around the Castle Keep.

Guildford Castle Grounds is a Green Flag award winner. The awards scheme is the national benchmark standard. It recognises well managed parks and green spaces. To win, parks must meet high standards and have excellent facilities.
