Westborough play areas consultations

We will be opening Kings College and Woodside Road playgrounds from Wednesday 1 May.

The consultation ended on Sunday 23 July 2023. It lasted for six weeks.

How are we improving play facilities in Westborough

After a consultation in 2019, we identified two playgrounds in Westborough area, which would benefit the most from refurbishment.

We now have £320,000 to improve the play facilities at:

  • Kings College, Southway, GU2 8EF
  • Woodside Road, GU28FN

What did we ask you?

We asked for your views on draft designs for each playground. We used an online survey to show you pictures of the proposed new layout and play equipment for you to consider. We also held a pop-up consultation at the Hive.

Consultation findings

Thank you to all those who responded to the Kings College and Woodside Road playgrounds consultations. We have considered all the feedback and made the following design changes.
