Get ready to vote on 7 May 2026 for who will represent you on West Surrey Council. This will replace Surrey County Council and 11 borough and district councils (including Guildford) from 1 April 2027.

Planned maintenance to our payment system

Due to scheduled maintenance, our payment system will be unavailable from 5pm until 7pm today (Monday 20 April). 

During this time you will not be able to make any payments online. We apologise for the inconvenience. 

Timetable for our Local Plan

We are preparing a new timetable in line with Government's new plan-making process.

This will replace our current timetable reflected in our Local Development Scheme, 2025. This is necessary as there are new 2026 Government regulations for plan-making, which we need to follow.
