Stoke Park

Visiting Stoke Park

Stoke park is Guildford's largest and most popular award winning park. There are 27 hectares of unspoiled rolling grassland and open views across Guildford.

Why not explore our recently restored Japanese garden or cool off on a hot day in the paddling pool? You can play minigolf, have fun in the playground or relax in our peaceful rose garden. There is something for everyone at Stoke Park.

  • Stoke Park Gardens is open daily from 8am until dusk.


Nightingale Road


Blue badge holders are exempt from parking conditions at Nightingale road and Lido road car parks.

Guildford College student car park, Stoke Road.

Located off the Recreation road round-about.

  • Weekdays after 6pm only - free
  • All day weekends and college holidays - free

College car park enquiries should be directed to Guildford College

Nightingale Road car park, (GU1 1ER)

Lido Road car park, (GU1 1HB)
  • 4 hours free parking between 6am-6pm 
  • 4-7 Hours - £5
  • 7+  Hours - £9

A ticket still needs to be displayed for a stay of 4 hours or less

Burchatt's Farm car park, London Road (GU1 1TU)Free parking at all times
