Strategic Environmental Assessment and Habitats Regulations Assessment
In September 2024,Ash Parish Council provided some early information about the scope and content of the plan and asked us to determine whether the proposed plan would require a:
- Strategic Environmental Assessment environmental report
- Habitat Regulations Assessment appropriate assessment
The screening request included information setting out the proposed scope of the neighbourhood plan policies. We screened the proposals and determined that the plan would need an environmental report and an appropriate assessment.
Ash Parish Council submitted the proposed neighbourhood plan in December 2025. The submission included an environmental report and information relating to Habitats Regulations Assessment. We screened the plan to see if it would need an appropriate assessment and determined that it would not.
