Friday 11 August

10.30am        The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Mike Parsons, welcomes a delegation of Chinese students and teachers at Guildford Castle.

 

Saturday 12 August

6pm              The Deputy Mayor attends the Macmillan Cancer Support 'Brave the Shave' charity event at Castle Green Bowling Club, Guildford.

 

Tuesday 15 August

11am             The Deputy Mayor visits Guildford Borough Council's FISH Playscheme at King's College, Guildford.

 

Wednesday 16 August

2pm               The Deputy Mayor attends a Coffee Morning for the Visual Impaired at CafĂ© Nero, High Street, Guildford, as part of the Mayor's Award for Access.

 

Thursday 17 August

6.30pm          The Deputy Mayor attends the V.I.P. Opening of the new Hummingbird Bakery store, Upper High Street, Guildford.

 

Friday 18 August

9.50am           The Deputy Mayor officially opens Experience Guildford's 'The Beach' at the Electric Theatre, Guildford.

1.30pm           The Deputy Mayor visits Papercourt Sailing Club, Ripley, as part of the Mayor's Award for Access.

 

Sunday 20 August

1pm                The Deputy Mayor, accompanied by the Deputy Mayoress, attends the Guildford-Freiburg Association Summer Lunch Party at Merrist Wood College, Worplesdon.

3pm                The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress attend the International Tercentennial Celebrations of 300 years of Free Masonry 'Afternoon Tea' at the Masonic Centre, Portsmouth Road, Guildford.

 

Tuesday 22 August

4.30pm            The Deputy Mayor, accompanied by the Deputy Mayoress, attends the Clandon Park International Design Competition; a preview of architectural designs display at Clandon Park House, Clandon.

 

Wednesday 23 August

10am               The Mayor, Councillor Nigel Manning, attends a meeting of the Trustees of the Mayor of Guildford's Local Distress Fund at Millmead House.

 

Saturday 26 August

7pm                  The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, Councillor Marsha Moseley, joins the Mayors and Chairmen of Surrey for a Civic Dinner at the City of Freemen's School, Ashtead; by invitation of the Chairman of Mole Valley, Councillor Simon Ling.

 

Sunday 27 August

12pm                The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the 2017 Egham Royal Show President's Lunch at Caddey's Field Showground, Egham.

 

Bank Holiday Monday, 28 August

9.30am             The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends Guildford Archery Club at Manor Fruit Farm, Normandy, where the Mayor will shoot the First Arrow to open the Acorn Tournament.

1.35pm             The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, officially opens the Normandy Annual Village Fete at Manor Fruit Farm, Normandy.
