Pay your council tax by direct debit

Direct debit is the easiest way to pay. It's simple, safe and you only need to give us your details once. We ask for payment from your bank on the second of the month. Or the nearest working day if the second is on a weekend or bank holiday.

Council tax is usually paid in 10 instalments due on or before the second of each month from April through to January. You can pay your council tax over 12 months, instead of 10. Email to make a request.
