Supplementary planning documents
What is a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)?
Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) are non-statutory documents that support the delivery of the Local Development Plan. SPDs cover a wide range of issues within the Local Plan and are produced in order to provide detailed guidance on how policies or proposals in development plan documents will be implemented.
Adopted SPDs and Planning Guidance
Adopted SPDs need to be read in conjunction with the Local Plan: Strategy and Sites 2015-2034 and the saved policies of the Local Plan 2003. See our Local Plan page.
